CVE-2025-33117Network attack vector

Privileged command execution via malicious autoupdate upload

Published Jun 19, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

External file-path control in IBM QRadar SIEM 7.5 through 7.5.0 Update Package 12 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. Modified configuration files cause QRadar's autoupdate handling to accept a malicious update file, but IBM has not identified the files or disclosed the exact path operation. High-privilege access is required; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied commands with consequences to confidentiality, integrity, and service availability.
