CVE-2025-33116Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via authenticated Web UI script injection

Published Sep 25, 2025 · Updated Sep 25, 2025

Cross-site scripting in IBM Watson Studio on Cloud Pak for Data 4.0 through 5.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript. IBM identifies the Notebooks Web UI as the component and states that it accepts embedded arbitrary JavaScript, but does not disclose the affected input, handler, or output sink. A valid account and victim interaction are required; execution in a trusted session can alter interface behavior and disclose credentials.
