Cross-site scripting in IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.5 and 9.0 allows remote authenticated users to expose trusted-session credentials. The Web UI renders user-controlled content as embedded JavaScript, while IBM keeps the affected interface and implementation details confidential. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and another user's interaction; the script can alter Web UI behavior and expose credentials in that session.
