Stack-based buffer overflow in IBM Db2 11.5.0 through 11.5.9 and 12.1.0 through 12.1.1 allows local users to execute arbitrary code. IBM identifies improper bounds checking in db2fm but has not disclosed the affected input, code path, or copying operation. Low-privileged local access is required; a successful overflow permits code execution in the vulnerable process context.
