Unauthenticated borrow-record creation via unintercepted endpoint
Published Apr 5, 2025 · Updated Apr 7, 2025
Improper access control in IKUN Library 1.0 allows remote attackers to create borrow records through an unprotected REST endpoint. MvcConfig.addInterceptors omits the /borrow route from login interception, so POST requests reach the borrow handler and write supplied record fields without a session. No login is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates unauthorized modification of borrowing data; no broader confidentiality or availability impact is reported.
