CVE-2025-33029

Denial of service via device-driver out-of-bounds write

Published Nov 11, 2025 · Updated Nov 11, 2025

An out-of-bounds write in Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software for Windows before 23.160 allows remote attackers to interrupt the system. Intel identifies the locus only as a Ring 2 device driver; it has not disclosed the driver path, input, or incorrect bounds operation. Exploitation requires adjacent access but no authentication or user interaction, and Intel does not specify whether the availability loss is a hang, crash, or reboot.
