Mark-of-the-Web bypass in WinZip through 29.0 allows remote attackers to execute code after a user opens a crafted archive. During extraction, its archive handler fails to copy the source archive's Zone.Identifier data to extracted files, so Windows omits the Internet-origin warning. Exploitation requires user interaction and runs code as the current user; the record is disputed because the original report was deleted and the control's intended scope is contested.
