CVE-2025-33003

Container privilege escalation via unnecessary execution privileges

Published Oct 31, 2025 · Updated Oct 31, 2025

Privilege escalation in IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.7.0.0 through 11.7.1.6 allows local users to gain container privileges. A container executes with privileges or capabilities beyond those required, but IBM has not identified the affected container or operation. A non-root account with local access is required; successful exploitation crosses a container privilege boundary and can compromise data and service availability inside that container.
