Administrator file read and write via path traversal
Published Apr 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Path traversal in WPMasterToolKit 1.15.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read and modify arbitrary server files. The File Manager accepts administrator-supplied paths for filesystem operations without keeping the resolved target within its allowed root. Administrator access and the File Manager are required, exposing sensitive files and permitting changes wherever the web server process can write.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
