CVE-2025-32991Network attack vector

Unauthenticated RCE via two-step REST API race

Published Mar 25, 2026 · Updated Mar 25, 2026

Remote code execution in N2WS Backup & Recovery before 4.3.2 allows remote attackers to execute code through the RESTful API. The vendor identifies a two-step exploit and CISA maps the flaw to a race condition, but neither source discloses the REST API endpoints, shared resource, or unsafe state transition involved. Network access to the API is required; no authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code.
