Browser script execution via stored POST input
Published Apr 25, 2025 · Updated Apr 25, 2025
Stored XSS in NETSCOUT nGeniusONE before 6.4.0 b2350 allows remote attackers to run attacker-controlled script in a user's browser via POST input. NETSCOUT identifies only a certain POST parameter and has not disclosed its name, endpoint, storage path, or the output-handling operation that fails to neutralize the stored input. Exploitation requires a user to open content that renders the stored value; the resulting script can read or alter data available to that browser session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
