Authentication bypass in Quest KACE SMA allows remote attackers to gain administrative access through SSO without valid credentials. The SSO authentication handler accepts impersonation of any valid username without credentials; Quest has not published lower-level implementation details. No existing account access or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants full administrative control of the appliance.
