CVE-2025-32970Public exploitNetwork attack vector

User redirection via unvalidated xerror URL

Published Apr 30, 2025 · Updated Apr 30, 2025

Open redirect in affected XWiki Platform branches before 15.10.13, 16.4.4, and 16.8.0 allows remote attackers to redirect users via crafted URLs. DefaultRequestParameterConverter passes the attacker-controlled xerror URL directly to sendRedirect after HTML conversion fails, without validating its domain. No authentication is required, but a user must open the crafted XWiki URL; the redirect can send that user to an attacker-controlled phishing site.
