Stored script execution via unsanitized brand field
Published Apr 5, 2025 · Updated Apr 7, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Online Eyewear Shop 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a victim's browser. The save_product handler in classes/Master.php stores the brand field without neutralizing injected HTML, causing an event-handler payload to execute when rendered. Low-privilege product-management access and a later page view are required; execution occurs in the viewer's application origin and can alter content or act through the viewer's session.
