CVE-2025-32960Network attack vector

Stored XSS via trusted HTML filename

Published Apr 22, 2025 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Stored XSS in Haulmont CUBA REST API before 7.2.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a crafted file download. FileDownloadController trusted the uploaded filename when selecting an inline response, so an .html suffix produced text/html instead of forcing an attachment. The attacker must first upload a malicious file and access the typically authenticated API; opening the file executes its script in the browser.
