Authenticated database disclosure via unsanitized customer ID
Published Apr 5, 2025 · Updated Apr 7, 2025
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Eyewear Shop Website 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to disclose database information via the id parameter. The delete_customer handler in classes/Users.php inserts the controllable POST id value directly into an SQL statement, enabling error-based queries. A valid PHP session is required, and the published proof of concept exposes the database name through an updatexml error.
