CVE-2025-32951Network attack vector

Authenticated stored XSS via inline HTML responses

Published Apr 22, 2025 · Updated May 27, 2025

Cross-site scripting in Jmix REST 1.0.0 through 1.6.1 and 2.0.0 through 2.3.4 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript. FileDownloadController passes the fileRef filename and caller-controlled attachment flag to the response writer, allowing an .html upload to be served inline as text/html. The files endpoint is disabled by default and permission protected, and exploitation requires a prior malicious upload and a browser to render its download.
