CVE-2025-32950Network attack vector

Arbitrary file read via unchecked FileRef paths

Published Apr 22, 2025 · Updated May 27, 2025

Path traversal in Haulmont Jmix 1.0.0 through 1.6.1 and 2.0.0 through 2.3.4 allows remote authenticated users to read server files. LocalFileStorage.openStream resolves an attacker-controlled FileRef beneath a storage root, then opens it without verifying that its real path remains within that root. Access requires an authenticated UI or generic REST API session, and the REST files endpoint also requires specific permissions and is disabled by default.
