Stored script execution via malicious service requests
Published Aug 12, 2025 · Updated Aug 13, 2025
Stored XSS in affected Fortinet FortiSOAR 6.4 through 7.6.1 web UIs allows remote authenticated users to execute script via service requests. The service-request display path stores attacker-controlled request content and renders it without adequate output neutralization; Fortinet has not disclosed the responsible file or function. A user with FortiSOAR access must save a malicious service request and another user must view it, allowing script execution in that viewer's browser context and exposure or alteration of accessible data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
