Livestatus command injection via unvalidated autocomplete input
Published Jul 4, 2025 · Updated Jul 8, 2025
Livestatus command injection in Checkmk before 2.4.0p6, 2.3.0p35, or 2.2.0p44, and 2.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to submit commands. The REST API autocomplete endpoint fails to validate input parameters for Livestatus command delimiters, so crafted input is parsed as additional commands. An authenticated account with access to the endpoint is required; injected commands can read monitoring data or alter core operations such as checks and downtime.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
