CVE-2025-32916

Entered-secret disclosure via validation-error navigation

Published Oct 9, 2025 · Updated Oct 9, 2025

Sensitive-data exposure in affected Checkmk releases allows attackers to obtain newly entered form secrets through URL query strings. After form validation errors, the page-navigation path retains password and other secret fields in the URL instead of excluding them. A highly privileged user must submit invalid form data and then toggle navigation; only newly entered values can reach browser history or server logs, not stored secrets.
