Device impersonation via unauthenticated UDP discovery packets

Use of a less trusted source in the KDE Connect protocol before 2025-04-18 allows attackers to spoof device information. Discovery handlers accept unauthenticated broadcast UDP packets containing a claimed device ID, name, and type, then replace the displayed data until a legitimate announcement arrives. An attacker must share the target's network; the false identity can confuse a user into pairing with the wrong device, without reported data disclosure or service interruption.
