Denial of service in Django 4.2 before 4.2.21, 5.1 before 5.1.9, and 5.2 before 5.2.1 allows remote attackers to slow web requests. django.utils.html.strip_tags(), also used by striptags, repeatedly parses large runs of unclosed opening tags without first bounding their depth. Exposure requires an application to pass attacker-controlled text to either interface; crafted input can monopolize processing and interrupt service.
