Out-of-bounds read in Rockwell Automation Arena Simulation 16.20.08 and earlier allows attackers to execute code through a malicious DOE file. DOE-file handling fails to validate user-supplied data before reading beyond an allocated memory buffer. Exploitation requires a legitimate user to open the file and can also disclose process memory.
