CVE-2025-32820Network attack vector

Authenticated directory permission change via path traversal

Published May 7, 2025 · Updated May 7, 2025

Path traversal in SonicWall SMA 100 Series 10.2.1.14-75sv and earlier allows remote authenticated users to make appliance directories writable. The SSLVPN request handler accepts injected traversal sequences and resolves them beyond its intended path, making the selected directory writable. An SSLVPN account with ordinary user privileges is required; SonicWall has not disclosed the affected endpoint or parameter.
