Improper access control in Dify before 0.6.12 allows remote authenticated users to modify application names, descriptions, and icons. The App, AppNameApi, and AppIconApi update handlers process metadata writes without verifying that the current user has editor privileges. A normal workspace account and a target application identifier are required; successful requests alter stored application metadata without disclosing data or interrupting service.
