CVE-2025-32789Network attack vector

Password-hash disclosure via sortable user-list field

Published Apr 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 17, 2025

Information disclosure in EspoCRM before 9.0.7 allows remote authenticated users to infer other users' password hashes by sorting users. The user-list query accepts password as a sort field, turning the ordered response into an oracle for values stored in the user table's password column. Exploitation requires knowledge of the attacker's current hash and repeated password changes and sorts; the reported consequence is disclosure of another user's hash.
