CVE-2025-32776Public exploit

Kernel-memory disclosure via wrapped RGB row length

Published Apr 15, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in OpenRazer before 3.10.2 allows local users to disclose kernel memory through a crafted matrix_custom_frame write. The razer_attr_write_matrix_custom_frame handlers store a calculated RGB row length in an 8-bit value, allowing integer wraparound before memcpy reads beyond the supplied buffer. Access requires permission to write the device's sysfs attribute, normally limited to root or members of the device-access group, and leaked bytes are placed in RGB arguments sent to the attached USB peripheral.
