Unauthenticated code execution via crafted hash cookie
Published May 13, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Stack-based overflow in Fortinet FortiVoice, FortiMail, FortiNDR, FortiRecorder, and FortiCamera allows remote attackers to execute code. The API mishandles a specially crafted hash cookie on portal and administrative HTTP interfaces, overrunning a stack buffer; Fortinet does not identify the affected function. No authentication is required, and successful exploitation grants code or command execution; Fortinet observed exploitation on FortiVoice.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=1.1.0 <=1.1.5
- Affected versionversion=2.0.0
- Affected versionversion=2.1.0 <=2.1.3
