Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Office Word in Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise allows local users to execute arbitrary code. Microsoft has not disclosed the affected Word component, the malformed input that reaches it, or the specific heap operation that overruns its allocation. The flaw is reachable locally without privileges or user interaction and allows code execution in the affected Word process.
