Contributor-level DOM XSS via undisclosed input flow
Published Apr 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
DOM-based XSS in RomanCode MapSVG 8.6.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script via crafted plugin content. Patchstack and the CNA do not identify the affected DOM sink or the untrusted input flow that reaches it. Contributor access and a privileged user action are required; injected script runs in the visitor browser and can alter content or access session data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
