Unauthorized administrator actions via missing nonce validation
Published Apr 9, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in ZealousWeb User Registration Using Contact Form 7 2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to force administrator actions. The affected request handler accepts state-changing requests without valid nonce verification; public sources do not identify the function. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to visit or submit attacker-controlled content, and resulting changes are limited by that account's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
