Authenticated code execution via unchecked logo upload
Published Apr 17, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Solace Extra 1.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to upload arbitrary files to the server. The Get Logo from API path stores downloaded content without enforcing allowed file types, permitting executable files to enter the WordPress upload area. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and an uploaded server-side script grants code execution in the web server context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=1.3.1 changes=[{"at":"1.3.2","status":"unaffected"}]
