Code execution via secondary-settings AJAX file inclusion
Published Apr 11, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2026
Local file inclusion in AshanJay Designs LLC EventON 2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute server-side PHP files. The secondary-settings AJAX handler passes an attacker-selected local filename to PHP inclusion logic without restricting the resolved path. No WordPress account is required, but Patchstack’s assessment requires a privileged user to act on a crafted request; included files can disclose data or execute PHP code.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
