Stored XSS via cross-site request forgery
Published Apr 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in George Sexton's connectDaily Events Calendar Plugin 1.5.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to trigger stored XSS. The public advisory does not disclose the affected handler, the unverified request parameter, or the HTML output context that makes script injection possible. Successful exploitation requires a logged-in privileged user to visit or submit attacker-controlled content, causing an unwanted state-changing request and script execution in the site's origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
