CVE-2025-3259Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated memory corruption via oversized devName value

Published Apr 4, 2025 · Updated Apr 4, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda RX3 16.03.13.11 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory through a crafted devName value. The formSetDeviceName handler for /goform/SetOnlineDevName copies attacker-controlled devName data into a stack buffer without an adequately enforced bound; public sources do not identify the exact copy operation. Low-privilege access to the router management interface is required, and public materials do not establish whether exploitation causes a crash or controlled code execution.
