Stored XSS via missing nonce validation
Published Apr 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Edamam SEO, Nutrition and Print for Recipes by Edamam 3.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to store scripts. An unnamed settings-update function omits nonce validation, so a forged request can change plugin settings and persist an injected script. A site administrator must be tricked into clicking a link, after which the stored script executes in subsequent browser views.
