Password extraction via inadequately salted password hashes

Weak credential storage in SICK AG TDC-X401GL and FLX3-CPUC200 all versions allows remote attackers to extract passwords. The password-hashing implementation uses a standard salt rather than adequately salting each password, weakening resistance to extraction. The attack requires no authentication but has high complexity, and the published consequence is limited to password confidentiality.
