Improper access control in SICK Flexi Compact devices of all firmware versions allows remote attackers to interrupt network access. SICK has not published the affected network interface or the access-control check that fails before the device accepts an IP address change. No credentials or user interaction are required, and the address change interrupts network reachability to the safety controller or gateway.
