Local command execution via sync_time argument injection
Published Jun 8, 2025 · Updated Jun 10, 2025
Command injection in onsemi Quantenna Wi-Fi chipset SDK 8.0.0.28 and earlier allows local users to execute arbitrary commands. The router_command.sh sync_time path fails to neutralize delimiters in its argument, but published material does not disclose the resulting command construction. Reachability requires local access to the chipset control environment; successful commands can read or modify data without a documented service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
