Authenticated remote code execution via MIME spoofing
Published Apr 4, 2025 · Updated Apr 4, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in SourceCodester Web-based Pharmacy Product Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The add-admin.php handler trusts the client-supplied avatar MIME type, retains a .php filename, and moves the upload into a web-accessible directory. Access to the Create User page is required; a crafted image upload then provides server-side PHP execution through the uploaded file.
