Code execution via TL5 parser over-read
Published Jun 17, 2025 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Fuji Electric Smart Editor 1.0.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted TL5 file. The TL5 parser fails to validate user-supplied file data before reading past the end of an allocated data structure. Exploitation requires the target to open the malicious file or visit a malicious page, and code runs in the current process context.
