Unauthenticated WPS changes via unchecked management request
Published Apr 4, 2025 · Updated Apr 4, 2025
Improper access control in the Tenda FH1202 1.2.0.14(408) web interface allows remote attackers to change WPS settings. The /goform/wrlwpsset handler accepts a crafted unauthenticated HTTP POST request and applies attacker-supplied WPS configuration without enforcing access control. Network access to the management interface is sufficient; the documented consequence is unauthorized WPS configuration change, not code execution or service interruption.
