Unauthenticated PII disclosure via statistic list IDOR
Published Apr 11, 2025 · Updated Apr 11, 2025
An IDOR in Oz Forensics face recognition application before 4.0.8 late 2023 allows remote attackers to retrieve PII through /statistic/list. The endpoint returns statistics containing PII for attacker-selected object references without enforcing authorization for the requested records. No authentication or user interaction is required; the documented consequence is unauthorized PII disclosure, not data modification or service interruption.
