Unauthorized account operations via missing CSRF validation
Published Apr 29, 2025 · Updated May 6, 2025
CSRF in Zimbra Collaboration 9.0 through 10.1 allows remote attackers to access or modify account data through the GraphQL endpoint. The /service/extension/graphql endpoint accepts cross-origin operations without validating a CSRF token, allowing requests to execute in a signed-in user's session. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to visit a malicious website; resulting operations include reading sensitive data, modifying contacts, and changing account settings.
