Authentication bypass via loose MD5 hash comparison

Type confusion in ZendTo before 5.04-7 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication for accounts retaining legacy MD5 password hashes. NSSAuthenticator hashes the supplied password with MD5 and loosely compares it to the stored value, causing numeric-looking 0e hashes to compare as zero. Exploitation requires a known local username with such a stored hash and grants that user's application access.
