Database read and modification via unsanitized profile parameters
Published Apr 4, 2025 · Updated Apr 27, 2025
SQL injection in /admin/profile.php in Projectworlds Old Age Home Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The profile-update handler incorporates POST adminname and contactnumber values into an SQL statement without sufficient sanitization, allowing supplied SQL syntax to alter the query. An administrator session is required to reach the endpoint; successful injection permits database reads and changes within the application's database privileges.
