Cross-user image disclosure via system-user view inflation
Published Dec 8, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Information disclosure in Android 13 through 15 Autofill Framework allows local users to view images belonging to another device user. Autofill UI paths reached from Session.java apply RemoteViews with the system_server user 0 context instead of the current foreground user's context. A low-privileged local app can reach the flaw without user interaction, crossing the multiuser boundary and exposing another user's images.
