Cross-user image disclosure via wrong-context Autofill inflation
Published Dec 8, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Elevation of privilege in Android 13 through 15 allows local users to view images belonging to another device user through Autofill. The Autofill UI inflates remote views with the system_server user 0 context instead of the current foreground-user context, crossing the device user boundary. Exploitation requires local access but no user interaction or added execution privileges, and exposes another user's images.
