Privilege escalation via forged privileged-user requests
Published May 16, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Themovation QuickCal 1.0.15 and earlier allows remote attackers to escalate privileges through crafted requests. Neither the CNA record nor Patchstack identifies the affected request handler or the privileged operation that accepts requests without CSRF validation. Exploitation requires a privileged user to visit a crafted page, click a malicious link, or submit a form, causing an unwanted action under that user's authenticated WordPress session.
